GOD, the first panel on this page (and also Rafi’s little face at the bottom of the page).
It’s always fun to see how everyone acts in a more casual situation. And I’m really curious to find out how character dynamics will shift as things start to get- weirder.
I also just want to take a minute to say that all of the backgrounds and background characters in this chapter have been excellent.
thank you jules! i’m so happy you’re loving the (not-quite-consciously) gay yearning of the first panel, hee hee. i felt like a real mastermind making it.
yeah, i’m enjoying the semi-awkwardness of social circles mashing together, job titles falling by the wayside. it feels important to show the ups and downs and modifiers of that process. and thank you too for liking the backgrounds and randos! i need to learn to simplify crowd scenes a bit better, but it is genuinely so thrilling to sort through yearbooks and photo albums for those LOOKS.
